The Fire Dragon Martial Arts Studio provides training in the Hard Soft Fist Style White Fire Dragon family of Kung Fu, Kenpo, Tai Chi, Chi Kung and SanShou (Chinese Kickboxing), offering classes based upon curriculum and age.

Pai Lum tao is comprised of both Hard (External)  and Soft (Internal) Styles

Training at the Fire Dragon Martial Arts Studio in any of the “hard” (or external) fist styles (Kung Fu, Kenpo, and SanShou) may Help you develop and/or enhance strength, discipline, patience, focus, confidence, and self-esteem. It can help you reach physical, mental and spiritual goals, increase cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility, and reduce stress while giving you confidence to defend yourself.  Other areas that may be specific to you include:  improving your health and self image, managing stress, reducing anxiety, confronting/combating fears, as well as providing a safe place to meet and workout with new people or bring
your friends.

Training at the Fire Dragon Martial Arts Studio in any of the “soft” (or internal) fist styles (Tai Chi  and Chi Kung) may help you develop and/or enhance your athletic training such as: tennis, golf and racquetball, or whatever your game may be.  It’s excellent for working on Coordination and balance Training.  Your “internal” training will boost your immune system by enhancing the body’s natural healing powers.  There’s minimal impact to the joints since it’s the lowest impact weight-bearing exercise known, ensuring full range of mobility far into old age.  Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing session.

What is Kung Fu?  It roughly translates to “accomplishment through hard work”.  It’s primarily a long range system of Chinese boxing, and, it is the foundation for many other martial arts disciplines., emphasizing low stance work, powerful kicking techniques, and lightning fast hand techniques.

What is Kenpo?  It roughly translates to  “law of the fist”.  It is an awesome short range fighting system of Chinese martial arts, developing lightning fast hands and  tremendous power.

What is Tai Chi?  It roughly translates into “supreme ultimate”. It is an Internal Chinese martial art which cultivates internal power while reducing stress; primary emphasis is on coordination of breath with fluid, physical movement.  Tai Chi can improve everything you do.  It’s a great way to work your body on both the inside and outside.  So, relax, breathe, and enjoy the benefits.

What is Chi Kung?  It roughly translates into “breath work”.  It’s included as  the core to your Tai Chi training, teaching you how to unify your breath with your physical movement. An exercise for health and longevity, you’ll learn how to relax the mind, body, and spirit.

What is SanShou?  It’s Chinese kickboxing, which means in addition to punching and kicking, there’s an additional dimension of sweeps, throws and takedowns.  Whether you’re in a match or just want to do the workout, it’s faced pace and it’s a great way to get in shape!
