SiFu Wendi ShumskiSifu Wendi began her Pai Lum Tao training in March 2002 after watching her husband compete in a State Tournament of 2002, where he medaled in Kung Fu forms and Point Sparring. Intrigued with the different variety of Kung Fu and Tai Chi forms, she began cross training in Pai Lum Tao Kung Fu and Pai Yung Tai Chi where her passion for the arts grew.  With that passion, dedications, and commitment, she obtained her 1st Level Black in Kung Fu in Orlando, Florida in November 2006.

 Within the four and a half years of training, Sifu Wendi has obtained several competition championships and a few awards such as:

2002 International Conference Kung Fu Forms Silver Medalist
2003 State Tournament Kung Fu Forms Champion
2003 State Tournament Tai Chi Forms, Tai Chi Push Hands, & Sparring Silver Medalist

2003 World Koshu Tournament Traditional Kung Fu Forms Silver Medalist
2003 International Conference Point Sparring Champion
2003 international Conference Tai Chi Forms Silver Medalist
2004 State Tournament Kung Fu Forms, Tai Chi Forms, & Push Hands Champion
2004 International Conference Kung Fu Forms & Point Sparring Champion

2005 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Traditional Kung Fu Forms Champion

 Sifu Wendi was also awarded three awards at the International Conferences. She received an award for Student of the Year in 2003, Outstanding Support in 2005, and Competitor of the Year in 2006. She continues to teach Pal Lum Tao Kung Fu with children and currently trains in Clark Summit underneath Sigung Conrad.
